Review – Bin Buddy

Review - Bin Buddy 2

I am rather house proud but admittedly but being a busy mum the bins come pretty low down on my to do list, in fact I make it my partners duty to empty them and put them out. Being a fairly busy household with pets and a baby there is always a lot of mess.  We try to recycle as much as we can using bins provided to us but there are items that we simply cannot put into our recycling bins like dirty nappies. Those that are parents will know that they very smelly and those that aren’t parents can pretty much imagine. Even when using hygienic nappy disposal bins they still produce a smell. One that is hard to mask and remove.

I was offered the chance to try some new products in the Bin Buddy range and thought, what do I have to lose?

I gave them a go, the range includes a disinfectant spray and kitchen bin freshener powder that helps to disinfect dustbins as well as making them smell lovely and fresh. They also have the Bin Buddy Dustbin Freshener which comes in a small caddy shaped like a wheelie bin.

Review - Bin Buddy 3

A Kitchen bin freshener which kills germs and neutralities all those smelly kitchen bin odours. Simply sprinkle into your bin or bin bags for great lasting results with a fresh citrus fragrance. Each mini pedal bin has up to 18 applications and the citrus scented powder also kills germs so it makes the bin a little more pleasant to deal with.

I have found the powder really easy to use and you can really smell the freshness from the powder, it’s a lovely clean smell and not too overpowering which was a nice surprise.  I noticed the smell of the powder right up until emptying the bin, even my partner commented on how long it had lasted for.

Review - Bin Buddy 4

A fast effective disinfectant spray designed to kills germs, clean, sanitise and deodorise both indoor and outdoor bins and bin bags. A regular spray inside your indoor / outdoor bins and bin bags keeps them free from odours and smelling citrus fresh. For cleaning and sanitising – spray onto surfaces. Leave for 20 seconds, wipe with a clean cloth or paper towel. Excellent for removing food spills around the lid and surrounding areas.

Again it is simple to use, we used it on all of our bins and it really freshened them up. Even our food waste bin, it no longer has a putrid odour! My bins now smell lovely, clean and fresh and I am now more inclined to actually do them myself rather than waiting for my partner to empty them. I no longer have to worry about the smell of dirty nappies when I open the bin!
