Who is Mum's The Nerd and how did it start?
Mum’s The Nerd is a UK based family lifestyle blog covering all aspects of family life whilst living our best adventures. Mum’s The Nerd features a little bit of everything but has a large emphasis on modern parenthood, travel , weight loss & lifestyle topics. Mum’s The Nerd was launched in 2010 as a way to document life as a new parent. Since then, it has grown into a successful family lifestyle blog with thousands of followers across the globe. At Mum’s The Nerd, we are dedicated to sharing our passions, providing honest, high-quality content and most importantly, creating content that resonates with our diverse readership base.
Who We Are
I became Mum’s The Nerd back in 2010, it started as a creative outlet as a new parent and grew from there. As a family we love days out and travelling to explore the world but I’m pretty much a home bird. I love nothing more than sitting out in my garden with a book or enjoying the sunshine with good food and a cocktail (or two) with loved ones. I have a huge weakness for stationery and Lego, and in my downtime I can often be found either gaming or engrossed in a book.
Known for his relentless dad jokes and laid back nature, AJ is definitely the comedian of the family. AJ is an enthusiast of many things including; the great outdoors, mountain biking, travelling, motorcycles, motorsports and whisky.
Born in 2010, Isabelle is fast approaching tweendom. We can honestly say that the first 10 years of her life have brought us fun and adventure. Isabelle’s passions in life include; animals, gaming, fashion, anime, geology and art.
We wouldn’t be a family without the fluffy members. Our 2 English Springer Spaniels, Obi and Loki. Your typical enthusiastic, water loving, dirt attracting, bundles of chaos.
