p align=”justify”>Every woman has somewhat of a daily battle with the way that she looks and during pregnancy, this is something that is magnified. As your body changes you can start feeling a little self-conscious and if you have always been small framed it can open up a whole new world of fashion queries.
<
p align=”justify”>There is one well known mother to be who is not cracking under the pressure of pregnancy and she has the whole nation watching her. We are referring to, of course the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton. Kate announced her pregnancy on the 3rd of December this year and has since been met with absolute media frenzy.
<
p align=”justify”>Kate has made a few public appearances since the news has had time to circulate, the most notable of which was her attendance of the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Award ceremony in which she was invited to present the honorary award to cyclist Bradley Wiggins.
<
p align=”justify”>The Duchess was wearing an Alexander McQueen floor-length, bell-sleeved maternity gown (as predicted). Since, for many of us, the prices of maternity formalwear from one of the country’s most infamous fashion houses is simply a pipe dream, it is worth noting there are companies that stock glamorous party pieces at a fraction of the price.
<
p align=”justify”>This Amelia short maternity dress from Tiffany Rose in vintage rose, for example is an absolute winner in terms of style and glamour while having a sense of maternity demure that even Kate would be proud of.
<
p align=”justify”>If you are looking for something that is stylish but for every day, why not take a further leave out of Kate’s fashion book and go for an oversized mac. Macs have been hitting the catwalks for autumn/winter 2012 anyways and it just so happens they are the perfect item for the expecting lady with a keen sense of fashion. You can find some really sweet, catwalk inspired, double breasted, camel macs in most high street stores.
