The lovely people at MAM UK have sent us the MAM Baby’s Fork and Spoon set to review.
Straight away I loved the look of them, they looked quite cute and suitable to use from ages 6 months +
They have a slight curve which is designed to teach toddlers how to hold cutlery properly and the soft handles help with their grip even when covered in food they were still usable and we had no problems of the spoon slipping around. They are great for little hands and even bigger hands like mine when spoon feeding your little ones. As the tips were a great shape for Isabelle’s mouth and she had no problems taking food from the spoon, what was even better they reduced the amount of food that Isabelle got on her face whilst feeding. Unlike other spoons I had used the tips did not discolour in any way which I had found with softer tipped spoons, even with the most stubborn foods like bolognese.
I even found the spoon really comfortable when spoon feeding Isabelle with no awkward positioning to get the spoon into her mouth.
We have even allowed Isabelle to spoon feed herself which didn’t end too badly, but for now we shall continue to spoon feed her to make sure she actually gets some in her mouth rather than playing.
At £3.05 they are an absolute bargain, they even compliment the MAM Baby Bowl perfectly.
I have loved using these and hopefully as Isabelle grows she will learn to use the fork herself, we look forward to learning her how to use cutlery with these
