The festive decorating has expanded from the traditional red, green and gold to now a multitude of bright colours and designs its becoming hard to choose the overall theme, do we go with purples and silvers, pinks or blues?
Do you have tinsel, beading, feature baubles or simple colour co-ordinating baubles?
Every year cannot help but buy decorations for my tree, not a complete new set but more feature baubles to add to my collection. My bauble obsession has finally erupted and now every bauble on my tree is a feature bauble.
This year I have gone for a stocking garland, my wooden Christmas advent tree and my Christmas Tree. We have yet to hang the stockings and purchase a wreath but those can wait until nearer Christmas.
For some inspirational ideas you can head over to Pines and Needles, they have some excellent decorations, tree toppers and lights as well as the magnificent Real Christmas trees that I long for. The decorations even include shatterproof baubles which are a godsend when you have a pesky cat like mine or even a curious toddler. A great service that they offer is the Christmas Tree Decoration Service by which you choose a tree and theme, they select everything for you and deliver your tree. Not only that but on delivery they will install and decorate the tree to…..how’s that for going the extra mile? From Silver and Gold to Purples the choice is yours, no battling or arguing with your significant other that they have put the lights on wrong or there are big gaps, just sit back and enjoy your beautifully decorated Christmas Tree. If you are wanting that extra little something the why not go for a lovely Christmas Wreath to enhance your Christmas. It’s not too late to order that Christmas Tree in time for Christmas.
I absolutely love the decorations available at B&Q. With a large variety of artificial trees available and 3 for 2 mix and match on all Christmas lights and tree decorations there is something for everyone. From fun bright colourful baubles to lovable tree characters that children will certainly love.
Paperchase is one of my all-time favourites when it comes to purchasing Christmas Tree decorations, they have such an excellent selection of baubles and ornaments. I often feel like a child in a sweetshop. Lots of beautifully decorated ornaments it’s very hard to choose. Some traditional and some very quirky like these balloon dogs
Next also have a lovely selection of trees and tree decorations as well as garlands to make Christmas extra special. They’ve created design themes to make selecting your Decorations easier from All that Glitters to the cool Ice Palace
One place that I never thought to look was Poundland, they have a great variety of Christmas Decorations at a very low price. Keeping up to date with the fashionable and quirky designs I was highly surprised. With plenty to choose from including tree decorations, room decorations and even a section on how to decorate your own Christmas Wreath.
Poundland have very kindly sent us a selection of decorations to give away on our blog, including table decorations, baubles, beading and tinsel.
It’s easy to enter, simply complete the Rafflecopter entry below.

at 11:31 pmWe don’t have a theme. I try to buy decorations from places that we visit so we have a good number of ‘meaningful’ things to hang on the tree. I love the idea of Bud being able to say ‘we bought this when we went there…etc…etc’ when we are decorating the tree in future years. So, no special colour theme just lots of ‘special’ decorations.
