What’s your favourite thing about Christmas?
I love everything about Christmas, from the build up and preparation to spending quality time with my loved ones. For me, Christmas is a magical time of the year
What is your favourite make-up look for the festive season?
I very rarely wear makeup, so I’m not aware if I have a special Christmas make-up look. I know a few years ago I attempted some sultry smoky eyes one Christmas, nobody told me it went horribly wrong and I looked like a panda that had a rough night.
Real or Fake trees?
I’m still on the fence about this one, as much as I love real tree’s and the scent that they bring, I still find it rather sad that the trees are grown and then just chopped down for our benefit of decoration. For just a few weeks the tree is a focal point but after then it is discarded and left to rot out with the rubbish. I’d much rather see them continuing to grow outside so for now I shall be sticking to my artificial tree
Giving or receiving presents?
As a child I would have said receiving but now I can honestly say its all about the giving and watching their faces when they open the presents. I think that’s why I am super excited about Christmas this year, to see the excitement on my little girls face.
Do you open your presents in the morning or evening?
Morning, I have always been up at the crack of dawn on Christmas morning. I’d wait for my poor nana to get up, usually around 5.30 and I would zoom down the stairs. Since living with the Mr I have had to tone my Christmas morning excitement down a little as he never appreciated being woken at ‘ungodly hours’
What’s your favourite Christmas film?
I’m a sucker for Christmas films, I love them all but I do have two favourites. Elf and National Lampoons Christmas Vacation, I can watch them over and over and never tire of them.
What is your favourite Christmas food?
Mmm I love the big extravagant Christmas dinner, I love all the little nibbles over the festive season and I am rather fond of Christmas party foods, you know for the late buffet after you have stuffed your face with everything else and you couldn’t possibly eat another morsel, but oh, those little chicken satay sticks and miniature tartlets do look rather tasty kind of meals.
