Today we ventured out to Reddish Vale Farm, luckily the weather was great considering for the past few days we have had nothing but grey skies and rain. Today the sun was out and the sky was blue so the perfect weather for outdoor activities.
Isabelle is a big lover of animals no matter how big or small so being able to see, feed and even touch the animals made for an excellent day for us.
Entry costs onto the farm are very reasonable, being free for under 3’s and £3.50 per adult, you have the option to buy buckets of food to feed the animals on the way around for the bargain price of 50p (I thought this was a great idea)
I was actually impressed with the facilities available on the farm including baby changing and also new clean high chairs in the eating area. Cafe prices were aso quite reasonable making it an affordable day for all. The staff even warmed the baby food that I had brought with me.
All areas are supervised by staff members who were very knowlegable and always willing to help, even playing with the children. Along with the animals there are play areas including activity areas and a large barn equipt with inflatables and a bouncy barn (castle).
We spent a few hours walking around the farm before heading off for lunch then to feed the ducks. I think I enjoyed the day as much as Isabelle did.
