We were sent some of the lovely award winning beauty care products by Palmer’s. I am a big fan of Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Lotion and use it daily in the morning and evening before bed so I was excited to receive more of their products to put to the test.
Skin Therapy Oil
Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Skin Therapy Oil is an advanced multi-purpose skin perfecting product that can be used all over the body including the face.
It is a fast-absorbing, preservative-free, light-weight ‘dry’ oil which is ideal for daily moisturisation and also ideal when used as a bath oil for a deep moisturising treatment.
Containing Rosehip, Sesame and Canola Oil together with pure cocoa butter and Vitamin E to help
improve the appearance of scars, stretch marks, dry, damaged skin, uneven skin tone, ageing skin and fine lines and wrinkles.
I first used the oil after a bath and it smelt delicious. It left my skin feeling wonderfully moisturised and supple. It did not irritate my sensitive skin and found it easily absorbed when using as a moisturiser. My skin not only felt soft and hydrated but it looked as though it was glowing!
Overall a very effective product that I now use after every bath/shower.

Leg Relief Massage Lotion
Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Leg Relief Massage Lotion instantly calm and relieve sore, tired legs with this unique ultra-soothing lotion. It softens and moisturises your legs whilst encouraging healthy circulation, relaxes swollen achy muscles, leaving your legs refreshed.
With a blend of pure cocoa butter, Shea Butter and Vitamin E and the added Menthol will help relax swollen, achy muscles and the Lavender Oil extract will soothe and calm; leaving legs refreshed and ready to carry you through the long days of pregnancy.
This would have been a great product whilst pregnant; I’m rather disappointed that I never knew it existed. Now I am glad that I have it. After running around after my very active little girl all day it becomes a godsend for my tiresome little legs. My partner (if asked nicely) will rub my sore tired legs and massage them. Although it doesn’t completely take the pain away it helps remove the knots and relieve the aches. I can certainly tell the difference, those knots in my legs relieved. My legs feel refreshed from the menthol and soothed by the lavender. Again it smells amazing and an added bonus is that it never left my legs feeling oily or greasy. Now if only I could get him to massage my legs more often. If I were pregnant I would have been using this everyday.

Massage Lotion for Stretch Marks
This Palmer’s cocoa butter formula massage lotion is great for use on stretch marks. It lubricates the skin, helping it to retain it’s natural elasticity but it will not completely prevent stretch marks.
The lotion improves the appearance of stretch marks but will not make the go away altogether which seems to be a misconception when people use creams like this.
Being a mummy a bear the scars of pregnancy in the form of these lovely stretch marks (also from being a rather chubby lady) The pregnancy and fluctuating weight gain/loss has paid its toll and I am not surprised. It’s quite depressing.
I have been using this product for 6 weeks now and have noticed a slight difference in the appearance of my horrid stretch marks, I wish that I had used this product from the start of my pregnancy. Maybe then I would not have all this hassle now
It really is a must have keeping your bump looking in tip top condition, after speaking to others about it they have advised that the lotion also helped with the itchiness of their bumps during pregnancy.

Palmer’s Tummy Butter for Stretch Marks
Palmer’s Tummy Butter is a highly concentrated formula widely recommended for stretch marks during and after pregnancy. The tummy butter works to soothe and nourish skin helping to restore vital moisture on an area that is prone to long-lasting stretch marks. It is best used as an intensive night time treatment as it penetrates deeply into the skin, while you sleep. Containing pure cocoa butter, Vitamin E, Collagen and Elastin to help retain natural elasticity, smooth marks and tone skin.
Its recommended to be used from the first trimester of pregnancy and can be used all over the body in those troublesome areas, thighs, hips, tummy and boobs. Again it will help soothe the irritation and itchiness that comes with an expanding pregnancy bump.
I did notice that it left my skin feeling a little sticky after use but since I was going to bed anyway it didn’t really bother me. I opened the tub 6 weeks ago and I am amazed at how long it actually lasts (I still have around 2/3s of the tub left)
Applying is easy, it’s quite firm in the tub but starts to soften with body contact to can be rubbed into your skin. It is quite greasy but I did expect this with an intensive formula. It’s very smooth when applied and it smells lovely. It leaves my skin feeling fabulous and looking healthy. I shall definitely use this product when we get around to having our second child.
