OCTOBER BLOG TAG

I was tagged by Karen from Really Missing Sleep to take part in the October Blog Tag. As you may know, Autumn is my absolute favourite season, so the October Blog Tag seems like the perfect way way to spend my cosy evening by the fire. Let’s get started!

What is your Favourite Colour?

I love yellows, mustard’s and oranges. ( I know, very autumnal)

What did you do today?

I spent the afternoon with my nana, she’s my best friend. I love having a catch up with her.

Where are you currently?

Sat in my office, trying to fight the urge to watch the last few episodes of Atypical on Netflix.

What is your star sign?

Sagittarius, apparently they are extroverts. I’m not quite sure that I fit that description.

Cake or Ice Cream?

I’m all about the cake,any kind of cake

Frozen or Moana?

Moana, just for the soundtrack alone.

A night in or a night out?

A night in, I’m a home bird and much prefer a cosy evening in my pyjamas

Home cooked meal or takeaway?

As much as I love a home cooked meal, I’m going to say takeaway. It’s so much easier and less washing up. I’m all about that convenience.

Pineapple on pizza or no pineapple on pizza?

Nope, nope, nope. I can’t say that I’m a fan

Books or films?

I much prefer reading a book

Autumn or spring?

Autumn, all the way

Flowers or chocolates?

It has to be chocolate’s, doesn’t it?

Full fat or diet coke?

Diet

Phone or laptop?

Laptop but I do tend to reach for my phone if its for something quick.

What is your current favourite TV series?

Game of Thrones or Peaky Blinders

What is your favourite thing to do in October?

I love taking my dogs out on long, crisp afternoon walks and conker picking with my little one.

What is your current food to crave?

Gyoza or any steamed dumplings in fact.

Do you have any piercings or tattoos?

A few tattoos and I had around 14 piercings but I’ve taken a lot out over the past year. Now that I’m getting older I felt the need to take them out.

Are you an introvert or extrovert?

Definitely an introvert, I’m quite happy in my own company.

What is your all time favourite Halloween film?

It has to be Hocus Pocus, I introduced my little one to it this year and she loved it too.

Have you got any plans for Halloween?

We have a rather fully packed Halloween. Firstly I need to pick up my daughters costume, accessories and Makeup. We live on a street where the children are of a similar age so the neighbours are throwing a street party, followed by trick or treating with the neighbourhood children and then trick or treating with her friends from school. I can already sense I’m going to be tired.

Do you have any fears?

Probably far too many and most of them irrational. Mostly I fear losing the ones that I love

Do you believe in life after love?

Of course, it’s be rather depressing if that was it.

Do you have any children? (or animals you treat as your babies)

Yes, firstly we have our daughter (affectionately known as Little Legs). Then we have 2 English Springer Spaniels, Obi & Loki. We also have Jasper, the cat.

What do you want for your future?

I would love to fulfil our dream of buying a farm house but we also eventually want to emigrate to Canada

Be honest, why did you start blogging?

Back when I was pregnant in 2010, I was put on early maternity leave, so to fill a void in my days I started blogging.

What is your biggest achievement so far?

It sounds really corny, but my daughter is my biggest achievement. She’s overcome a lot in the past 6 months and I couldn’t be more proud of her.

What are your ambitions with your blog?

I’m quite happy with where it is to be honest

If there is one thing you’d like to change about your blog what would it be?

I’d like to develop some photography skills that I could use to improve my blog posts. At the moment I tend to just reach from my iPhone rather that picking up the DSLR.

Have you achieved any blog goals you set out to do this year?

I didn’t really set out any goals this year, I promised myself that I would only carry on blogging if it made me happy and didn’t seem like a chore. So far it’s working.

Where do you want to be in 10 years’ time?

If I had my way, we’d have a little farm filled with rescue animals.

What is your dream holiday?

I want to take my little one skiing in Banff, I just know that she would love it.

If you had an entire day to yourself what would you do?

It’s that time of the year when the Christmas Markets start to pop up, there’s nothing I enjoy more than wandering around the Christmas Markets in Manchester with a hot drink. That’s what I would do if I had a full day to myself….or I’d just be lazy and spend the day binge reading. Both would make me happy.
