6 Months to the date we became parents…..6 whole months. It is a rather scary thought that in another 6 months, our little girl will be a year old. I have never understood the term “they grow up too fast” quite as much as I do now.

![[AD] This year has been full of changes, we’ve homeschooled, we’ve worked from home (and still do) and as a result, we have spent more time in the house than we have out. It’s been no surprise that our monthly utility bills have increased over that period.

Combined with our Amazon Echo devices we have fully automated the lights in our home with Hive Dimmable Lights. They can be dimmed, set on timer, switched on/off via the app and respond to voice commands through Alexa.
