The Mr and I have been together now for nearly 8 years, that’s almost my entire adult life (give or take a couple of years) From the day we met we have pretty much been inseparable, he was still living at home and I was living in a house share at the time, it made sense that he would spend all of his time with me when he wasn’t working. Although we spent all of our spare time together, we started out as a bit of fun, nothing serious after both coming out of recent relationships, 8 years later we have a 2 year old and I couldn’t imagine my life without him.
To us 8 years is a long time but we’re both as happy now as the day we first met, we rarely argue, I can count on one hand the amount of times we have had serious words. We have a love for all things geeky (that’s possibly not a real word) and share a lot of similarities but the one thing that has worked in our favour all these years is our sense of humour. From the day we met he told his friends that I was the female version of him, I’m not sure if that is a good thing but together we are happy.
It’s not all smooth sailing, he frustrates me beyond reason, he’s messy, he makes silly choices and often irritates me but in all that he makes me laugh and that’s our saving grace. He knows me better than anyone, he knows when something is wrong and I’m not happy and he knows exactly how to put a smile back on my face.
We know each other inside out, we appreciate our differences but I often wonder how much we actually know the little details and how much we remember about each other, the Mr is rather forgetful sometimes so when I discovered the new app ‘For better or worse’ from Osborne’s it was the perfect opportunity to see how much he really knew. The is really just a little bit of fun, asking questions about yourself/relationship for your significant other to answer testing your knowledge of each other. We completed the app and the Mr only got one question wrong which was “Where is my favourite place?” to be fair the question was a little vague so I can left him off with getting just one question wrong.
Why not take a few minutes to see how well your partner knows you? you never know you might just be surprised like I was, You can play on Facebook , or on the Osbornes website.
