It’s been two months of detox, dieting and exercise; in those two months the total number of lbs lost is 36. Although I can’t personally see the effects, I can feel them, my clothes are looser and those scales don’t lie. That’s simply cutting out the rubbish, drinking only water, following a low carb diet, exercise wise I’m now onto the second (Beta) stage of Focus T25, it’s only 25 minutes a day but I enjoy it and boy do I feel it afterwards.
There was a point in the first month where I almost caved, I wanted those high carb foods, potatoes, pasta, rice, bread…..I craved them. It was hard, nothing could fill that carby hole no matter what I ate. There are substitutes, like sweet potatoes in replacement for those delicious Maris Pipers but they don’t quite cut it for me. It’s become a lot easier though, I love my new eating habits, I enjoy the foods I eat and I can honestly say that I don’t miss my old carb filled diet at all (unless you mention cake, gloriously sweet cake, then I’ll have a little sigh to myself)
This month the new gym opens which means I will actually have real adult time to work out without having to stop half way through to make a juice or tie her shoes for the 11th time since I started, I’m looking forward to focussing solely on exercise and shifting this fat ass of mine.
So far I am pretty impressed with the weight loss and I hope it continues
